Dr. Nina Kajo is a highly accomplished cardiologist and echocardiography specialist with over 35 years of experience in the field of cardiovascular medicine. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tirana in 1979, she began her career in Cardiac Surgery in 1980, joining the surgical team for heart procedures at QSUT.

In 1985, Dr. Kajo completed her postgraduate specialization in cardiology and went on to dedicate her career to the Cardiac Surgery Clinic at QSUT, where she worked for over three decades. Her pursuit of excellence led her to advanced training at one of Europe’s leading cardiac centers, Herz-und Diabeteszentrum NRW in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, where she specialized in Echocardiography (TTE and TEE) in 1995.

Dr. Nina has become a trusted authority in cardiac diagnostics, particularly in echocardiographic evaluation for surgical planning and long-term postoperative care.
